ROME — Martin Scorsese has agreed to become honorary president of the David di Donatello, Italy’s national film awards, the Ministry of Culture announced on August 25, 2026. The post, offered by Culture Minister Alessandro Giuli, still needs a formal vote by the foundation that runs the prizes.
