GORIZIA — A year after sharing the title of European Capital of Culture with Nova Gorica across the Slovenian border, Gorizia is settling into life as a year-round destination. Regional figures show 2025 arrivals up about 25 percent on 2024, with Austrian visitors alone roughly quadrupling, and autumn is a fine time to take the city in over three days.
